On passing out from ACSPL, a student may consider several career options:
In case he/she appears and successfully passes the DGCA examination, he/she may join an airline, an aviation related IT organization or an MRO as an assistant, Technician, Junior Trainee/Engineer.

After successful completion of each modules students shall be eligible to appear for respective Module-wise DGCA AME Licence Examination.


Scope of AME in India

Planning to pursue a career in aviation and don’t know much about the industry? Aviation is no longer requirement of the riches but essentially has developed as a standard mode of transportation for the masses, which has seen a sudden surge due to opening up of new domestic airports and entry of new operators in the Indian market. The Careers in AME is not just limited to domestic sectors but also extends to all the nations, which comply and are members of International Civil Aviation Organisation (A body of United Nations). In India an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer secure high salary package in comparison to other positions in the aviation sector as it a responsible & reputed position. As a fresher the salary paid to an AME is somewhere around Rs.35000/- per month**, which keeps on progressing (2 to 5 Lacs per month depending on the Category of license and the size of an aircraft) with time and experience. So choosing AME course as a career would be a great option for those aspirants who are focused and are passionate about aircraft. To be an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in India it is compulsory to clear the module examination (conducted by the DGCA) after completing organised training in an DGCA approved CAR 147 training organisation that are and gain practical maintenance experience in an Aircraft Maintenance Organisation for enabling them to attain an Aircraft Maintenance License issued by the DGCA (in India) and or EASA (in European Union) in order to secure a technical position in the aviation industry.
